Heavyweight Fishing Rods: All 29 Ranked by Power
Power decides how fast you win the reel fight; Luck decides how often a rare fish shows up at all. They do not rise together, and three of the rods below are outright traps — the Alloy Rod drops your Luck from 22 to 5, the Grandmaster Steel Rod from 30 to 10, and the Diamond Spine Rod costs a million more than the Platinum Spine for identical listed stats. Every number here is transcribed from the game's Trello board and cross-checked against a rod guide published on August 30, 2026.

Crafted rods
Both are made at the rod seller for 50 Gems, and both have a listed 50% chance to fail — budget for two attempts. The four materials are secret fish, so plan the run around island weather.

Where the numbers disagree
- A widely shared rod guide calls the Heaven Piercer Rod the strongest in the game. The board lists the Maoshan Rod at 105 Power, five above it. Both are printed above; the guide ranks only rods you can buy from a fixed seller or craft, and the Maoshan Merchant is neither.
- The Sacred Bamboo Rod is listed on the board as a skin from Giang Lao, while the crafting guide describes it as craftable from four fish (Nameless Octoparasite, Reborn Puffer Beast, Ascended Perch and Mountain Fish). Unconfirmed as of August 31, 2026.
- There is no 90 Power rod in the current table — the steps go 83 → 100 → 105.
